“From The 1948 Unwritten Constitution To The 2018 Nation-State Law: A Historical Tour”

Dr. Dubnov is a historian of twentieth century Jewish and Israeli history, with emphasis on the history of political thought, the study of nationalism, decolonization and partition politics, and with a subsidiary interest in the history of Israeli popular culture. Dr. Dubnov will discuss a historical perspective on Israel’s 2018 Nation-State Law, also known as the nation-state bill. This will include implications of the recent elections and other current issues. The presentation will include a Question & Answer session.
